The Green Tuffet, LLC

Spending most of her high school years and adult life in Collin County (Texas), Jamié Chapman Roberge opened The Green Tuffet, LLC in February 2011 as a retail boutique at Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney, Texas.  After twenty years in corporate America and dreaming of one day having her own shop that offered all of the things that she loved, The Green Tuffet, LLC was born.  The vintage space at McKinney Trade Days offer vintage furnishings, antiques, unique objects and extraordinary gifts.

There’s an excitement when she finds an item, or actually, when an item finds her.  With her uncanny ability to group pieces together and to place them in just the right way, you will find that history can be renewed and memories can live on forever.  Finding treasures in the most unlikely places and giving them new life is her goal. To offer a source of nostalgia or to rekindle a cherished memory for her customers is the reward.

Staging Homes and Styling is also one of Jamié’s passions.  With the busy lives most people lead today, it is nice to be able to escape to a space where you can relax and decompress. That space should capture what is important to you and wrap you in the things and colors that you love. Helping you create that space is why Jamié Roberge has started The Green Tuffet, LLC.  We are a full service interior decorating firm based in Allen, Texas and serve the surrounding communities including Dallas, Frisco, McKinney, Lucas, Murphy, Plano and Richardson. We provide consulting and decorating services for both residential and commercial spaces. What is Home Staging?

  1. home stey·jing

NOUN

  1. cleaning, repairing, and updating the décor and furnishings of an older home to make it more attractive when shown to potential buyers

“Home staging” is not a new term, but for many homeowners and real estate agents, the concept of “professional home staging” is step in the home selling process that you don’t want to overlook. In past years, homeowners would lean on their own personal decorating style to appeal to the masses in preparing for their home for showings. This approach is very limited as it restricts the offers to only those homebuyers drawn to that style.

While agents are experts in the field of selling and closing, many are not design savvy. Agents usually know exactly what factors can help sell a home. It’s just not always easy to get a home into selling condition in a timely manner without some sort of experienced assistance.

Professional home stagers are practiced in the art of preparing a home for resale. We work with the “flow” of a home, eliminate clutter, edit and arrange furniture, and even assist in enhancing curb-appeal.  With the aid of a professional home stager, your house can make a notable first impression to potential homebuyers and be the home they compare all other homes to during their search for just the right place.
